COTA has the best GA in America — the Turn 1 hill is a natural amphitheatre where 50,000 people sit on the grass. At $120–280 vs $295 for the cheapest grandstand, the question is whether a seat and shade are worth the premium.
The verdict
GA wins at COTA for most people. The Turn 1 hill is genuinely world-class viewing. The exception: if you need shade in the October Texas sun, the Main Grandstand is the only covered option.
Grandstand options
Main Grandstand ($495–1,200) for the covered seat and Turn 1 view. Turn 1 Hill ($295–590) for the dramatic braking zone. Esses ($185–380) for budget flowing corners.
The Turn 1 hill experience
50,000 people on a grass hill watching cars climb 40m to the most dramatic corner in F1. Arrive early, claim your spot, and you have one of the best views in motorsport for the lowest price.
