GA vs Grandstand

Monza is the outlier on this list. The circuit runs through a royal park — and the park is the experience. GA at Monza is not a consolation prize; it is how most of the tifosi watch the race. €100–200 gets you access to the Parco di Monza and the freedom to find your own position at any corner. The grandstands are fine but they are not significantly better for watching the race, and at €265–780 they are priced as if they are.

Our verdict: General Admission

Monza GA is €100–200 and puts you in a 700-hectare park with some of the fastest corners in F1 and the loudest tifosi on the calendar. Grandstands at Monza are expensive for what they are — open air, no better viewing than a good GA spot, and you miss the park atmosphere. Unless you specifically want the Tribuna Centrale pit-straight view, buy GA.

General Admission — €100–€200

  • Access to the full Parco di Monza — you can walk between corners and choose your position
  • The Parabolica hillside has the best tifosi atmosphere in F1: flags, chants, genuine passion
  • You can see multiple sections of the track from the park as cars loop through the chicanes
  • Cheapest major F1 circuit GA ticket — Monza prices are low relative to the calendar
Best for

Anyone who wants the real Monza experience — the park, the atmosphere, the tifosi

Not for

Fans who need a fixed seat or who want pit-straight views with a corporate setup

Grandstand Options

Roggia GrandstandBest Grandstand
€265–€480
  • Second chicane (Roggia) — a proper braking zone with overtaking attempts every lap
  • Better racing views than Tribuna Centrale at half the price
  • Open air, so pack for September weather which can be warm or wet
  • This is where to sit if you want a Monza grandstand seat that earns its price
Best for

Grandstand buyers who want actual overtaking to watch

Tribuna CentraleCovered
€420–€780
  • The main grandstand — covered, opposite the pits and start/finish line
  • Pit stops, pitlane activity, and the race start happen in front of you
  • Most expensive option and the corporate choice; the racing view is a long straight, not a corner
  • The roof makes it the only comfortable option if September brings rain
Best for

Fans who want the covered main grandstand experience and do not mind paying for it

Parabolica Grandstand
€240–€420
  • The final corner before the main straight — the last real passing opportunity on the lap
  • Long approach at high speed and heavy late braking; decisive overtakes happen here on the last lap
  • The GA hillside next to this grandstand gives a similar view without the seat
  • Worth the premium over GA if you want a fixed position at this corner
Best for

Fans who want to see the decisive corner of the race with a guaranteed seat

Lesmo GrandstandBudget Pick
€195–€350
  • Lesmo 1 and 2 — fast sweeping corners deep in the park, away from the pit complex
  • Good viewing with long sightlines through the forest
  • Cheaper than Roggia and Parabolica; the GA equivalent spots nearby are comparable
Best for

Budget grandstand buyers who want a seat but are not paying Tribuna prices

Which should you buy?

First-timer

GA

Walk the park, find the Parabolica hillside before the race, and stand with the tifosi. This is the authentic Monza experience.

Ferrari fan

GA

The Parabolica GA banks are where the tifosi gather. You will be in the middle of it.

Pit-straight watcher

Tribuna Centrale

If you specifically want to see pit stops and race start from the front, Tribuna Centrale is the only option.

Budget-conscious

GA

€100–200 for Monza GA is the best value ticket in F1. The grandstands at €265–780 are not proportionally better.

Overtaking focused

Roggia

The second chicane sees more overtaking attempts than any other Monza corner. Roggia grandstand puts you at the braking zone.
