▸Pit lane EXIT rejoins the track directly in front of you — watch cars on cold tyres rejoin the racing line

▸Section 1 sits closest to Turn 1, Section 7 toward Turn 3 — sections 1 and 7 are half-width
WHAT IT'S LIKE
GS12 is the Senna Curve grandstand: you sit on the outside of the Turn 1–2 left-right and watch heavy braking from 330+ km/h fold into the apex right in front of you. The pit lane exit rejoins the racing line in front of sections 5–7, so cars on cold tyres slot back in directly under your eyeline. No roof means June rain is a real possibility — the Quebec crowd more than compensates.
✅SWEET SPOT
Sections 5–7 (Senna Curve apex plus pit exit). Section 1 sits closest to Turn 1, Section 7 toward Turn 3. 🚫AVOID
Skip rows AA–JJ — the debris fencing obstructs both view and photography. Move up to KK or higher. 💡INSIDER TIP
Don't use the Jean-Drapeau Metro entrance — get dropped near the Montreal Casino instead. Cuts the walk to 10–15 min. Budget 2+ hours to exit after the race if using Metro. ⚠️No roof — fully exposed to sun and rain. Montreal in June is unpredictable; bring a poncho and sunscreen. Not the stand for podium ceremony or pit stops — pit garages and start/finish are on the opposite side of the circuit (see GS1).
FAN REVIEW
"Watching cars exit the pits on cold tyres straight into the Senna Curve apex — best wheel-to-wheel angle on the circuit."
💺 BEST SEATS
Sections 5–7 give the side-on view of the Turn 2 apex with pit exit cars rejoining in front of you; Section 1 is closest to Turn 1 braking, Section 7 looks toward Turn 3.
