Security staff check bag size at every gate entrance. Bags that are clearly over the limit are turned away without exception. Measure your bag against the stated limit before you travel — not on the morning at the train station.
No clear bag requirement
Unlike Miami, Las Vegas, and some US venues, Monza does not require a clear or transparent bag. Any colour, fabric, or style is permitted — the only restriction is the 15-litre capacity. A regular small daypack in any colour is fine.

You can bring one sealed non-glass bottle with a maximum capacity of 500ml. The bottle must be sealed on entry. Refill it at the free drinking water points inside the circuit and parkland — these are well distributed and reliable.
Outside alcohol is not permitted — sealed cans or bottles of alcohol will be confiscated. Food from outside is generally permitted within the bag size limit (sandwiches, snacks — not hard-sided containers).
There are no on-site bag storage or locker facilities at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. If your bag fails the check, you will need to return it to wherever you left your belongings — which means a return trip to Monza town or your accommodation.
Left-luggage lockers are available at Milano Centrale station if you're travelling light from Milan and need somewhere to leave a larger bag before entering the circuit.
