Take the S8 or S11 regional train from Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi to Monza station. Journey time is 10-12 minutes and trains run continuously. From Monza station, the Linea Nera shuttle bus costs approximately €6 return and drops you at the park perimeter — then a 15-20 minute walk to the circuit gates. Allow 90 minutes total from central Milan to your grandstand seat on race day.
No. Royal Monza Park road access is restricted for all non-official vehicles on Saturday and Sunday. For general ticket holders, the train from Milan is the only practical option — navigation apps will mislead you about road access on race day.
After the race, all 60,000+ spectators converge on two train stations and queues of 60-90 minutes are standard if you rush the gate immediately. The best options are: stay for the traditional post-race track invasion (walking the main straight and pit lane), which lets queues clear while you are still on the circuit; or wait 30-45 minutes inside the park. Either consistently beats joining the immediate post-race crowd.
