Base townSpa, Francorchamps, Stavelot and Malmedy book out fastest. If you're looking later, Liège (45 min drive) and Verviers (20 min) are the realistic fallbacks.
Park & shuttleThere is no real public transport to the circuit. Pre-book a park-and-ride shuttle or factor in long walks from distant car parks — on-site parking is limited and sells out early.
Rain gearSpa weather is legendarily unpredictable. A full waterproof (jacket + overtrousers), waterproof shoes, and a packable poncho are all worth packing — even in "summer".
Walking shoesSpa-Francorchamps is the longest track on the calendar — 7km of lap plus significant elevation. You will walk 15–20k steps across the day. Break in your shoes before you fly.
