Key Dates & Deadlines
Hotel areaDon't stay near the circuit — it's a rough neighbourhood. Book in Itaim Bibi, Jardins, or Vila Olímpia and plan a pre-booked driver for the hour-long ride each way.
TransportUber or a pre-booked car is the only sensible option to Interlagos — public transit is thin and cabs outside the circuit are unreliable. Agree a price with your driver before getting in.
Weather swingNovember in São Paulo is reliably unreliable — 30°C sunshine or a full thunderstorm. Pack a rain shell, waterproof shoes, and sunscreen. You'll probably need all three.
Cash + cardBring a small amount of Brazilian reais in cash for street food and tips, but the circuit is largely card-accepting. Notify your bank of the trip — some cards get flagged on arrival.
