Park & rideDon't drive to COTA on race day. Pre-book a Park & Ride shuttle from downtown or a remote lot — traffic on FM 812 and Highway 71 gridlocks from mid-morning until well after the flag.
October weatherAustin in late October is usually 24–29°C and dry — but cold fronts do hit. Sunscreen, a cap, and one light layer for Saturday evening cover every realistic outcome.
Bag policyCOTA allows bags up to 12 × 12 × 20 in, and they do not need to be clear (the clear-bag rule applies only to the Super Stage concert floor). Coolers, luggage and laptop bags are refused.
