Yas Island hotelThe W, Yas Plaza, and Rotana hotels walk straight to the circuit gates. They sell out fastest — if you want the stress-free option, book by September or fall back to Abu Dhabi city and plan a taxi in.
Twilight timingThe race starts at 5pm with sunset around 5:30pm. Plan to be at the gate by 3pm for the build-up, and bring something light to layer over bare arms once the sun drops.
Concert + exitThe post-race concert at Etihad Park is included with every race ticket — stay for it. Roads off Yas Island gridlock for 2+ hours; the concert clears the jam for you.
Bag policyYas Marina allows bags up to A4 size. No outside alcohol (sealed or otherwise) — don't try it. Check official policy 2 weeks out.
