📍 Start/Finish Straight — Caspian Sea View
Cars reach 370km/h along this seafront straight before braking for T1 — the pressure wave hits you before the sound does. Safety car restarts off the straight produce some of the most chaotic braking zones in a season. The Caspian Sea is to your left and the old city skyline to your right; no other main grandstand in F1 has this setting.
"Cars at 370km/h on a city street. I felt the compression wave before I heard the engine."
Upper tier, sections C-E — full length of straight visible before T1 braking
📍 Turn 8 — Castle Walls Section
The castle walls are centimetres from the barriers, and cars navigate this section at 40km/h with almost no margin. You are watching F1's tightest passage from the walls of a 12th-century fortress. Drivers have clipped the walls here before; when it happens the noise and reaction are immediate around you before the commentary catches up.
"F1 cars squeezing through 500-year-old castle walls. I genuinely thought one would get stuck."
Any row — sightlines are good throughout due to the narrow enclosed nature of this section
📍 Turns 15–16 Final Straight Entry
You see the setup for most overtakes on this circuit: cars battle through T15-16 then commit to the 2.2km straight. September sun here is direct and there is no shade at all, so bring sun protection and a full water bottle — the nearest concessions are a long walk from this section.
"I saw the setup for almost every overtake from Turn 15. Budget ticket, premium racing view."
Upper rows, left — T15 entry and the acceleration onto the straight both visible
